This is me dressed up back in January for a 1920’s themed Chicago murder mystery party. I was a reporter named “Scoop.”

You are no dyke.  You are a heterosexual male, not a lesbian.  Stop appropriating lesbian experience, stop appropriating the term “dyke”.

You piece of absolute shit, I hope you step on a thousand Legos, scum. You have no right to say who is or isn’t a dyke.

Not the Legos!  Nature says that you are not a dyke.  “Dyke” refers to lesbians, lesbians are female.  Lesbians cannot be male, you are male, therefore you are not a lesbian.  See how that works?

Okay, maybe gaynotqueer has no right to say who is or isn’t a dyke, but I do. And this guy is not a dyke. Not even close.

I find it disturbing how this guy is trying to reclaim and use a slur that has been created by his ilk (heterosexual men) to oppress and discriminate against lesbian women for centuries. This behaviour is not okay. I find anyone (who is not a gay or lesbian person) using words like dyke or faggot to be a despicable human being. These vile words are not yours to reclaim, straight men and women. Why do I need to tell you this?
