I’ll never understand people who don’t drink alcohol
Maybe they know what alcohol can do to people, maybe they fear liver failure, maybe they had a family member or friend that died from an alcohol related accident, maybe they don’t feel the need or desire to drink, it’s really not that hard to comprehend.
i’ll never understand people who won’t stop trying to get me to drink
earlier today i was thinking about the thousands of girls who post videos on youtube reviewing makeup and talking about their fav products and making tutorials and how no girl has ever once done it just to impress men like literally that whole community exists just for…
There is a post going around tumblr stating that women have never been assaulted by trans women in women's restrooms. Could you please comment on this.
Whoever is saying this is being very dishonest. Males who are crossdressing prey on women in the bathroom all the damn time. And since the only difference between a crossdresser and a trans woman is a statement of self-identification, these sex criminals are all trans women.
Ever since I started this blog, I’ve been asking trans women to help police our own communities, to keep the sex criminals out. But most trans activists would rather defend the rapists, pedos, and perverts. So, let’s be real: when is 90% not substantially all?
I just had to vent to someone who understands and say it is awful being in a feminisms class that is full of liberals and I'm the only self-identified rad fem. I voiced my opinion that I think "b*tch" and "c*nt" are derogatory words embedded in a violent history against women and all I got in response was "Oh, are those Ouch Words for you?"- talking to me like I'm four and I have no real logic behind why these words are harmful. Libfems are fucking naive as hell.
I had those same fucking issues when I did a ‘gender studies’ class (because they changed it being called ‘women’s studies’????)
This is the issue:
Liberal feminists are male-apologists. They work on slightly tweaking an already misogynistic society and its practices, rather than getting to the root of patriarchy and abolishing industries and ideas that threaten women.
Libfems: “Why can’t we have ‘feminist porn’? I feel empowered watching porn and IT’S MY CHOICE.”
Radfems: “Pornography is an inherently misogynistic industry that profits and capitalizes on the degradation of females and female sexuality. There is no such thing as a ‘feminist’ genre of porn because as feminists, we are looking after the well being and growth of women which will inevitably be compromised in any form of porn. Your individual choice to watch porn is not a ‘feminist choice’ because you are receiving orgasms from violence against women.”
Libfems: “I WANT to be a submissive, I ENJOY kinks, and me and my ‘daddy’ engaging in DD/LG is EMPOWERING.”
Radfems: “You were socialized into submissiveness, so there is nothing empowering about being submissive in your sex life. It’s not a feminist choice just because you feel empowered. There is a reason that most kinks involve women being abused, and men doing the abusing. Consenting to abuse does not make it okay, it actually glorifies the experiences of survivors and, in the dd/lg kink, it sexualises children. Your partner is not ‘pretending’ to have sexual feelings for children, he has them - or else he wouldn’t want you dressed up as a small child to receive sexual gratification. Individual orgasms do not override the need to end abuse in all forms.”
Libfems: “But it is a sex workers CHOICE to do sex work. If she feels empowered, then why the fuck do you care?”
Radfems: “We are not against sex workers, we are against the sex work industry because it extracts economic profit from violence against women. The sex work industry is known for sex trafficking, having underage workers, and in non-Western countries it is commonplace for a prostitute to receive less than $1 a day. Sex workers, more often than not, are poverty-stricken and see prostitution as a last resort. How empowering is a decision made by someone who has no other choice? Sex work is the most dangerous job in the world because there is more violence and murder done to prostitutes than in any other profession. Also, sex workers receive, on average, more PTSD than any soldier fighting in war.[x][x][x][x]”
Libfems: “You’re just a TERF if you think that trans women aren’t female”
Radfems: “Gender is innately patriarchal, and has been used as an oppressive tool since the dawn of time. Sex is not. Females are a specific set of chromosomes, hormones, and anatomical attributes that cannot be replicated. There is nothing ‘identifiable’ about being a female, and to say so suggests that patriarchy’s idea that ‘women are naturally submissive, weaker, lesser, subordinate, interested in beauty products’ is true. To stipulate that a biological male can ‘feel’ like a woman means that there is a female brain, and we are all naturally the way patriarchy has intended. No. We were taught that. If we abolish gender, then we will be left with the sexes - and males can wear makeup and dresses if they want; but it doesn’t make them a woman. A woman is an adult female.”
I do not identify with being a woman as society has created it.
I do not identify as cis. I am not cis. I am a woman trying to fight with every fibre of my being against everything that my “gender identity” tells me to be. Woman as defined by society is not my gender identity. My gender identity is fuck this oppressive bullshit, and let me be a human fucking being.
“Is having children on your priority list?
“I’m not going to answer that question. I’m not mad at you for asking that question, but I’ve said it before: I don’t think people ask men those questions.” —Zooey Deschanel, Marie Claire, September 2013”—
When ever I make a post about anti blackness that poc are guilty of there’s always someone in the notes like “white people turned us against each other” and it’s like no??? U adopted these anti black sentiments before your people even came to America? Anti blackness in like really big in UR home country? There a reason there’s an anti black slur in most languages. Like god have some accountability.
Hi, I'm actually transethnic (born white, ethnically identifying as Black), and I understand that most people purporting to be so are trolls. However, not all are, and our identities are just as legitimate as transgender identities.
You can’t ethnically identify as a race other than what you were born as - transethnic is a phrase for adoptees of color. “Ethnically identifying as black” while not being black is racist and appropriative: you cannot be black because you will never see the world as a black person would, you never face the same stigma that a black person does, and black culture is not there for you to take and consume because you like it.
you can just tell that Nicki Minaj is the kind of person that when you’re telling a story and everyone else in the group is talking over you, she’s making direct eye contact with you and paying extra attention so that you don’t get discouraged and stop mid-story
